10 years ago Simon Johnson decided he’d had enough of going to the gym and went for a run instead. He hasn’t stopped running ever since! Within the first 6 months of running he had entered his first ultra trail event – he was/is hooked.
Running has been a great outlet for Simon’s mental health and introduced him to a bunch for awesome friends.
He also has a visual impairment which makes him legally blind – although he still manages to race around ultra marathon trails 🙂

Simon’s Running Tips – Ease into it – don’t go to crazy. Don’t compare yourself to other people – the only person you should be racing against is yourself ( and maybe the person just in front of you 😉 )
