Alicia Gerbert joins us on the podcast all the way from Connecticut in the USA for a chat about her running journey. Sadly Alicia lost her younger sister a couple of years ago to cancer and this triggered her to start looking after herself more. So she started running and within 2 years she’d lost 60 pounds and ran 2 marathons. Alicia is loving her running and its become a big part of her identity – importantly it’s empowered her to take on other challenges in life.
