Play the video to hear a message from me about the Mindful Movement program. YES you can be Mindful while you’re moving 🙂
This is a great question and very easy to answer – mindfulness will help you to learn how to pay attention to what matters in your life and the live’s of those around you. Lets face it we all have to deal with challenging times in our lives – mindfulness gives us life-long tools to do this.
When you are more mindful you:
– Don’t take things so personally – holding onto grudges etc.
– Don’t over react to stressful situations – the kids just won’t get out the door on time for example!
– Are more present with your loved ones (nothing can replace quality time with those you love).
– Will sleep like a baby and when you don’t you’ll have strategies to get back to sleep.
– Can regulate your emotions more easily.
– Slow down all those 100s of thoughts you’re having each minute, so you’ll have space to focus on whats important.
– Increase your happiness and wellbeing.
All those things are great, but if you’re like me you’re probably thinking, I can’t sit still for long AND even if I could my life is super BUSY! I’m a mother, wife, business owner, daughter, sister, friend, volunteer and runner… and the list goes on… But take a minute and you’ll realise that it’s because of all those roles you have that you NEED to be the best you possible. Mindfulness will do this for you and it doesn’t need to take loads of time nor do you need to sit still (although a little being still is good for you).
MOVING
If you already walk or run regularly to keep your body fit and for some ‘self-care’ time, then Mindful Movement is for you (if you don’t then its DEFINITELY for you). When you combine mindfulness and movement your regular exercise becomes time for your BODY and your MIND (walk/run therapy 🙂 )!
Research has shown that people who are more mindful are generally
happier and report less anxiety, symptoms of depression, anger, and
worries. A higher degree of mindfulness is also associated with reduced
stress and increased gratitude, hope, and vitality. Research has ALSO shown that regular exercise can provide similar benefits on top of the obvious physical benefits.
So if practicing mindfulness & regularly exercising holds such powerful potential for our wellbeing (emotionally and physically), why aren’t we all doing it every day?
The reason is often that we need more guidance and support than simply
downloading an app. We need to better understand the underlying
processes and research behind mindfulness. And when it comes to exercise, we need to see how regular exercise can become a part of our lifestyle and not just another chore.
My new “Mindful Movement” program is designed to walk you through
everything you need to fully understand mindfulness and how to combine it with movement so you can experience the profound effects that both mindfulness and movement can have on your life.
Group workshops will be held weekly over Zoom (recordings will be
available should you miss a session).
There will be homework, exercises and meditations for you to practice at home, and
there is an optional accountability group where additional inspiration will
be shared to keep you motivated and supported throughout the program.

My name is Michelle Frost, and I’m a mindfulness coach and addicted runner. I’ve been exploring mindfulness for the past decade, following some stressful events in my personal life. Ever since I learned to develop a consistent mindfulness practice that worked with my love of running (movement), I’ve found a way to flow more easily with the highs and lows of life, and I’m passionate about helping others like you to do the same. I’ve 5 wonderful children, 3 gorgeous grandchildren, a fabulous husband and a couple of businesses, so I know how busy and stressful life can get…
“Michelle is relaxed, very approachable and full of knowledge which she can present at a level suitable for each individual.”
Claire Robertson (workshop attendee)
“I consider Michelle to be highly suitable for a coaching and mentoring role. She has exceptionally well developed relevant skills and abilities, appropriate personal qualities and performs at an excellent standard.”
Ella Dixon (past Regional Manager – Women Tas)
This is an 8 week program, starting on 27th October and finishing 15th December, on Wednesday mornings in Australia (see the schedule above for international times).
This program will be delivered in 8 one and a half hour online zoom sessions over 8 weeks (see the schedule above). The sessions will be recorded, so don’t worry if you miss one. You will also have homework/practice to do each day and will be given workbooks and guided audios (stationary meditations and guided movement). And finally we will have a Facebook group for you to get support from 🙂
This training requires about 15 to 30 minutes a day and is most effective when done at home. Different types of exercises include formal
meditation and more informal daily practices.
At its core, Mindfulness is about starting over again and again. Even if you feel like you’re not making ‘progress’, if you have patience and try
to practice regularly to the best of your ability, your efforts will pay off.
In this program, we’ll approach mindfulness in a way that addresses all of the common stumbling blocks, and you’ll be free to share your
specific concerns so we can troubleshoot them together. Plus we’ll have a movement element sprinkled over the program, which is possible not something you’ve experienced in your past efforts at Mindfulness.
Yes. Over 3,000 peer- reviewed research studies have validated the benefits of mindfulness & exercise, and we have made sure that everything in this
program is underpinned by rigorous science and references.
While the program is in beta the investment for the 8 weeks is ONLY $199 AUS
